Our camp is suitable for kids aged 4-13yrs. Younger kids must be going into Primary one this September to attend. The Camp is open to members and non members, it is recreational so no previous experience is required. Each day is themed with colouring and arts and crafts. Children are grouped into ag …moree & ability groups. Events-(Floor, Vault, Bars, Beam, Trampette. Airtrack) Events will alternate each day for example if a child participates in Floor, Vault & Bars on day one, they will participate on Beam, Trampette and Airtrack on day two. Each day there will be focus on mastery of a new movement or skill at each event to maximise learning and to keep kids engaged. Our Preschool Camp is suitable for kids from walking to 4.5yrs. Each day has a different theme and kids will be immersed in a world of imagination as they practice the fundamentals of Gymnastics. There will be 45mins of gymnastics and 15mins of arts and crafts related to the theme of day and on …morethe final day they'll take part in a fun obstacle with their friends and collect medals at a ceremony bringing the week to a close. 10.15am-10.20am- Welcome & Registration & Playing with Toys 10.20am-10.30am- Warm up, Stretch & Conditioning 10.30am-10.45am- Apparatus 1 (Bars, Beam, Floor or Vault) 10.45am-11.00am- Apparatus 2 (Bars, Beam, Floor or Vault) 11.00am-11.15am- Arts & Crafts Stickers & Shoes & Farewell Apparatus will alternate each day, e.g. Day 1= Floor & Vault, Day 2=Beam & Bars, if your child is going into P1 in September and you feel they could handle the challenge of the Primary School Camp, you can enrol them. If you feel however you wish for them to remain in Preschool until they have made the P1 transition in September, that's absolutely fine. N.B.
